Belarusians protest against lies and propaganda
Once in a while we stumble upon words and expressions that just don’t make any sense or simply incompatible with reality. For example, “communism with humane face”, “Dictatorship and freedom” and now we can one more entrée to the dictionary: fairness and objectivism as seen on Belarusian Television.
Simple and plain, the words objectivism and fairness are incompatible with reality. And most people who have access to more than one channel in Belarus know about it. I bet employees of the BT know that stuff they produce is everything in this world but true. Still they keep pouring propaganda on Belarusians in all kind of forms and contents. Maybe they try to enter the annals of history as the number one propaganda source. Or maybe they just like it. In either case, whatever they do is just mismatched with a definition of fair journalism.
So the other day some Belarusians got so fed up with BT that they organized quiet unusual action against this source of propaganda. During another “objective” news program on BT they gathered in front of a huge TV screen in the center of Minsk and at the same time all together covered their eyes with black and denim stripes. Some even closed their ears…Well, what else can we add…
